You kill me with your cruel thought,
104
You kill me with your cruel thought,
I all bury them before you in the grave
Of your pretty ruth that I have got:
Safety from you now consider save.
A woman’s love is like an untamed bear
Demands a tight iron-made nose ring,
Of money to shun faithlessness O Dear,
And the bear dances when you do sing.
Do not trust in the harlot-kiss you ruin,
Love may be bound with money fetters,
You fall in love when naval wishes croon,
So your acts become like the go-getters.
The whore’s kisses in love is a gallows,
Those lead to death do tell your fellows.
