When my body the angels overthrow,
138
When my body the angels overthrow,
My soul flies to heaven forever to rest,
My love you find on my love’s eyebrow,
As a hungry raven sitting on the crest
People forget it none is here forever,
Young always thinks the older dies first,
But hungry death does follow the clever,
Do ponder on self in silence it is must.
I plan to put my thoughts into the line,
To immortalize you till the systems fall,
You enjoy fame my comely concubine,
There I am eaten as the canker to gall.
None listens after me to your tale of woe,
Then you know O lady my love was true.
